QnD Auto-Exposure Hack
I was out in the nature preserve taking photos with my point-and-shoot, which has no manual exposure and a hard-to-reach ± control. It does have an accessible AE lock, so when I wanted to underexpose, I tilted the camera up toward the sunny sky. The hack: to overexpose, I’d insert my black-gloved hand into the frame. More glove, more exposure: simple and very easy to control.
